Running away from home to escape abuse, young Willy finds himself in a park alone and hungry.
As darkness fell and his stomach growled for food, he vowed he would rather starve to death than go back home.
If he had to choose, then the bench would become his home if it meant avoiding the pain he had suffered since birth.
Who would have thought that a passing stranger and his dog would change Willy’s life? Flashes of the past haunt the stranger, lighting thoughts of a connection of more than this kid rag-a-muffin in the park.
Will Willy find the protection, love and understanding with a stranger that he never had at home?
